TAKE OUT

Here's one for you:

Did you ever have your pager go off and you couldn't stop what you were doing to respond to the page?

You put the pager back into its holster and forget about the message until some irritated soul calls or repages you later. In the heat of the moment the response memory was lost.

Try putting the pager into a shirt or pants pocket after you look at the message. Afterwards you'll feel something strange (I'm so used to my pager that when it's not on my belt I feel like something's missing) and it will help you remember to answer the page.

Thanks to Steve Mazzola for this tip.
